Gargling the Universe Algorithm
Issue #138: "I'm condemned to use the tools of my enemy to defeat them."
How’s it going this Monday readers?
I have very little to offer you this week as far anything interesting to say about my week. Besides working at the call center, I have been looking for another job, reading comic books, watching some TV, playing video games (mostly The Outer Worlds), and podcasting. There is more that I can say but it is all kind of dismal and I don’t want to start out everybody’s week bringing people down reading about my impending depression. Generally speaking, life kind of sucks right now but there is still good in it. I have it way better than a lot of other people. I have a family. I have a house. I have my podcasts. I have my comic books. I have my cats. So life isn’t all bad. It’s just the employment picture right now isn’t where I thought I’d be at age 53 and it’s a bummer.
Speaking of cats, before we begin with the normal stuff, I do have to include a picture of my kitty.

ON SCREEN
Friday evening I saw The Amateur. It’s a spy action film directed by James Hawes and stars Rami Malek and Laurence Fishburne. It was good. It’s the story of a CIA computer nerd whose wife is murdered by terrorists and he goes out for revenge. I recommend if you like spy films. Or if you like Rami Malek.
I mentioned in the last issue that I was watching Agatha All Along. I did finish that show last week. It was okay. It isn’t my favorite MCU TV show but it wasn’t my least favorite either.
It’s only a little over a week away until Season 2 of Andor begins!
PODCAST STUFF
On Rebel Nerd Radio, we were joined by our friend Frosty to dig into the first season of Andor.
Another episode of The Batcave is available on the YouTube channel now. On this one, Blue and I were joined by Spencer of The Dingus Den to talk about the first issue of the long awaited Hush sequel.
Speaking of Spencer, I also joined him on The Comic Den again on Sunday. We talked about Jonathan Hickman’s 2015 Secret Wars story arc.
TRACK OF THE WEEK
This week, I’m featuring the title track from Propagandhi’s upcoming album At Peace that is scheduled to be released on May 2nd. I am very much looking forward to this album.
