Salutations readers! Welcome to another Monday of absurdity.
I start a new shift at the call center today. I am officially done with training. I will be working four 10 hour shifts with Tuesday, Wednesday, and Saturday off. This should be interesting. Not sure if this will make the experience better or worse. We will see.
For more daily nonsense throughout the week, catch me over at Facebook, Threads, and Instagram.

Other Reads:
As far as comic books go, this was a very slim reading week. The only other thing I read was Thunderbolts Classic Vol. 1 by Kurt Busiek and Peter David.
Last week, I mentioned that I had started reading The Rise and Fall of the Galactic Empire. However, I put that back on my to read list because I borrowed Reign of the Empire: Mask of Fear by Alexander Freed from the library and started reading that. I’m only XX% of the way through but already I gotta say that it is quite a page turner.
Saturday evening I saw the 20th anniversary re-release of Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith. I still remember seeing it when it originally came out. I can’t believe it’s been 20 years. I was living in the Seattle area. I saw it at the theater at Alderwood Mall in Lynnwood. A large group of us went to see it. I remember having some good discussions about it afterwards. Wow. 20 years. It is one of my favorite Star Wars movies. It’s in the top 3. I often go back and forth on whether it is my 2nd favorite or 3rd favorite. Such a good movie.
Yesterday (Sunday) I saw The Accountant 2. I enjoyed it. Generally speaking, it is as good a movie as the first one was. However, there are some aspects of the 2nd one that are better than the first. I felt like there was more humor in the sequel. I recommend.
Also, for some reason, over the week I decided to rewatch all 3 of the Austin Powers movies. They are as dumb and humorous as they were when I saw them the first time.
Speaking of movies, if you interesting in keeping track of my movie watching habits and maybe checking out some movie lists that I’ve put together, go check out my Letterboxd.
I don’t have a lot to talk about in this segment but I did want to point out that Liverpool FC won the Premium League championship title. Good job Reds!
In other sports news, as of this writing the Chicago White Sox are in last place in the ALC. The Mariners, however, are in first place in the AL West. Keep in mind that it is still early in the season so anything could happen.
In NHL news, the playoffs are in full swing. The Blackhawks, unfortunately, did not make the playoffs. The Dallas Stars are (as of this writing) tied in their series with the Colorado Avalanche.
Rebel Rock Radio took a break last week while JD was in Japan for Star Wars Celebration. You can check out all of our other content on our YouTube channel though. Make you sure you subscribe!
I did, however, do an episode of the Comic Den with Spencer. We talked about the original Thunderbolts comic book from 1997.
