Steve Will Return in Avengers: Doomsday
Issue #167: "It seems to be powered by some sort of electricity!"
Welcome to March kids!
Wow. Another month gone. February flew by…as it often does. I don’t have a lot of stuff to give updates on in my personal life. I’m still studying for my certification exam and I’m still looking for work. While I’m thinking about it I want to thank those of you that contribute to my Kofi. The extra money for coffee and comic books is well appreciated. If you like the stuff I write on here and have the means and desire to contribute you can do so as well. Just go here.
Oh yeah, apparently we are at war again. This time with Iran. Ugh. When is Thanos getting here?
Okay, let’s get on with the update of mostly random stuff that I’ve posted on social media throughout the week. You can find me on Facebook, Threads, and Instagram.
If you’d like to support my shenanigans financially, consider upgrading to a paid subscription.
I didn’t write much of anything last week. The only thing I wrote was my Needle Drop Friday on…errr…Friday.
In the realm of reading I did do some comic book reading of course. First off, my pull list last week was incredibly low. It was only the one book. Punisher #1 by Benjamin Percy.
Outside of the pull list, I did, of course read some other stuff. I’ve still been working on getting caught up on Ultimates (Deniz Camp) and I did get all finished with the Hickman run of Ultimate Spider-Man. Some other stuff that I read included a new comic book that a friend recommended to me called Bleeding Hearts #1 by Deniz Camp and Stipan Morian and What’s the Furthest Place From Here Vol. 4 by Matthew Rosenberg and others.
So with the end of a month I guess it’s time to pick out my favorite albums from that month like I usually do. So here are my top 5 records released in February 2026 (not in any particular order).
Enemy - KMFDM
Catacouture - ghostbells
Death Knocks - Hoaxed
Take Care - Melonball
Cold 2 The Touch - Angel Du$t
And here’s a list of my 10 most listened to artists for the month of February (according to Lastfm):
I did go to the theater this past Thursday evening. I went and saw Scream 7. I have seen most of the movies in this franchise in the theater. The Scream franchise itself is probably my 2nd favorite horror/slasher franchise (after Saw). That being said, this one is probably my least favorite of the series.
Aside from that I re-watched a bunch of the MCU movies. I re-watched (I didn’t watch them in any logical order by the way) Captain America: The First Avenger, The Avengers, Captain America: The Winter Soldier, Captain America: Civil War, Infinity War, Avengers Endgame, and Avengers: Age of Ultron. After re-watching these again, I think it is time to update my MCU ranking. I’m not going to bother with that now but if you want to see my current ranking go here.
As far as podcasting goes, I just did the regular episode of Rebel Nerd Radio. JD and I jumped back into our Starships of the Galaxy series and talked about the starships of scum and villainy.
On other podcasts, the guys over at Punk Lotto Pod celebrated the 50th anniversary of the release of the debut self-titled Blondie album.
While not a podcast, I did run another session of my Star Wars tabletop role playing game, Shadow of the Sun. Those sessions are available on the Rebel Nerd Radio Patreon so if you’re interested in watching those, you can become a patron for only $2 a month. Go here for that. In the meantime, I recently posted the opening crawls from some of the previous sessions on our YouTube channel.
Well that’s all I have this time around. I had a mostly boring week.
I leave you with a track of the week. It’s just a random song that I was listening to earlier today and just felt like sharing it. It’s by the Belgian punk band F.O.D. and comes from their 2017 album Harvest.
Again, if you like the stuff that I do on here, please consider to support me financially by donating whatever you can on my Kofi. It goes to buy me coffee and comic books.
