Hello there faithful readers!
Not really a lot has been going on this week. Been doing more comic book reading (see below) and playing video games.
I have NOT, however, started Jedi Survivor yet. At the time of this writing, I have not bought it yet but I plan to. I did, however start playing Spider-Man: Miles Morales recently. Oh that reminds me! Did I mention on here that I bought a PS5 a month or so ago? I could go back and look in previous issues but I don’t feel like. Late 2021, I switched from my PS4 and bought an Xbox Series X so I had been doing all of my video game playing on that. However, about a month or so ago, I found a screaming hot deal on a Playstation 5 and went ahead and got it. After going through all the updates and what not, I saw that all of the old stuff that I had on my PS4 was still available to play. I had bought the Mile Morales game shortly before I made the PS to Xbox switch and never played the game after I bought it. Anyway, I’ve been playing that game a lot lately. It’s good. I don’t think I like it as much as I did the original Spider-Man video game. I liked the story better in that one. But as far as the game play, I might like this one better. Miles has some different powers that are fun to use. I also reinstalled the Guardians of the Galaxy video game and played a little of that again. It’s another fun game. Really good story but the game mechanics are a little wonky. Anyway, hopefully I’ll get around to buying the Jedi Survivor game and get a chance to play that some.
Not really much else to talk about this week to be honest. Maybe I’ll come up with more to talk about in the next issue. Until then, I return you to your regularly scheduled Otter Limits content.
Rebel Rock Radio
This week, we were joined by Kellie from Sidebar Cantina. We talked about the X-Men. I was really looking forward to this episode and it was a lot of fun. Tunes on this episode came from Eddie Japan, The Downhauls, and Jughead’s Revenge.

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 3 - Great movie. In my opinion, is the best thing that the MCU has done since Endgame and, currently is #3 in my MCU rankings (behind Winter Soldier and Endgame). Such a great way to end this series. So amazing. If you haven’t seen this movie, you really need to.
My X-Men adventure continues. This week I have read:
X-Men Red Vol 1 & 2 by Al Ewing
Immortal X-Men Vol 1 & 2 by Kieron Gillen
Sins of Sinister #1 by Kieron Gillen
This week’s pull list included:
Daredevil #11
Darth Vader #34
Nocterra #14
Shazam #1
Green Lantern #1
Silk #1
Also, I would like to know if Comixology is ever going to get better? Some things about it are just really wonky. For instance, when you go to buy multiple comics, there isn’t a way to put them in cart and buy all of them at once. You have to buy each issue separately. Financially speaking, it doesn’t matter but it is kind of irritating that you have to do it for every comic that you are trying to buy. Also, the app for it is horrible. The reading interface is fine. I actually prefer it to other formats but the app STILL won’t allow you to purchase comics on it. You have to go to a computer, go to Amazon (or Comixology.com) and purchase them there. Comixology either needs to get better or another company needs to offer a way to read new comic books digitally. I mean, in the case of Marvel comic books, if the comic is at least 3 months old, Marvel Unlimited is really the way to go in my opinion. But for new issues, it’s just a pain. Ok, my rant on Comixology is over.
For this week’s track of the week, I consulted with Last.fm to see what I’ve been listening to more than anything else. This is, according to Last.fm (which by the way still only counts my listening habits on Spotify and not Apple so isn’t 100% accurate), my most listened to track this week. Enjoy!
Have a great weekend and remember to BE MORE KIND!
