So I’m in Michigan now. I am living in a town on Lake Michigan northwest of Grand Rapids. I’ve only been here a few days but so far, I like what I see. Everything is so green here compared to where I was. The town that I live in is pretty small so it has a nice little small town feel to it but it’s also closer to a bigger city so there is a lot of stuff to do if I get to feeling clausterphobic (I’m NOT a small town kind of person). Speaking of said small town that I live in. We don’t even actually live in the city limits of that small town. We kind of live in the sticks. It’s nice though. For now.
Last night the wife and I ate dinner at a little out of the way place called the Red Rooster Tavern. It was amazing. The food was great. I had quite possibly the best club sandwich that I have ever eaten in my life. My wife ate a burger called the Napaoleon Dynamite. It was essentially part burger and part french dip. I had a bit and it was pretty darn good too. Along with my sandwich I had onion rings (because any new place I go that has onion rings I HAVE to try them). They were really good. All around nice place to eat. I would definitely go again and would recommend if you are ever in the area.
No list this week. I couldn’t think of a topic for it. I’ll try and remember to come up with something for the next time around.
Rogue One Radio
There was no episode this week because I’m still trying to get settled in up here in Michigan and haven’t gotten my podcast working station put together yet. However, last week on Rogue One Radio, Nicole and I were joined by Adam of the From a Certain Point of View podcast to finish up our series on Obi-Wan Kenobi. We played some tunes from Last Point and Snow Coats. Check out the episode on Apple here:
Or, check it out in its original format on YouTube here:
Here is my pull list that came out last week (nothing came out this week):
Darth Vader #24. Han Solo & Chewbacca #3. Doctor Aphra #21. What’s the Furthest Place From Here Volume 1. In all actuality, I might not have time to read this this week because I’m getting ready to move. Hopefully, I’ll get through a couple of them.
For this week’s track, I picked one a few years old that I always go back to. It comes from the 2016 Don’t Make Ghosts EP ‘Death Ride.’ This is probably my favorite song of theirs. Enjoy!
Princess Leia says goodbye and see you next time.
