Quoting Treebeard I see! I love the LOTR books & movies and pretty much anything to do with them. Did you watch the extended editions? The Hobbit is pretty good. Not as good as the LOTR but still good, although some liberties were taken like adding things not in the book. There is a series on Prime, The Rings of Power, which is based on happenings from before the LOTR, not as good, many liberties are taken as far as differing from the books (Silmarillion, LOTR, Etc...)but I enjoyed it for the most part. A new animated movie, The War of the Rohirrim recently came out too, it was just ok. Rumor has it Peter Jackson is making another trilogy covering events between the Hobbit and LOTR.
Cool! Let me know if you watch any of the others I mentioned. There is a lot of Fan Fiction out there too, like videos on YouTube that are pretty decent.
